July 3rd General Meeting

How to Make Impossible Deals Profitable
+ Note Marketplace

Columbus’s biggest, fastest growing, and most excited community of new and experienced real estate investors invites you to join us for our July 3rd  meeting, where you’ll meet over 100 local investors plus get educated about important topics in the real estate business today.

We’ve got 2 red-hot topics for you: a note marketplace where you can come to buy notes, sell notes, or just see what folks have for sale; plus a presentation by one of America’s most creative buyers on how to turn deals that don’t look like deals into money-makers!

How to Make Impossible Deals Into Profitable Deals with Bill Cook

You’ve probably heard that to make great deals in a hot market like ours, you have to think outside the box.

This month’s expert speaker says that’s completely wrong—he says that you have to realize that there is no box.  In fact, uber-creative investor Bill Cook says that to make all deals possible, you only need to do five things:

  1. Get face-to-face with sellers
  2. Be curious
  3. Draw up a T-bar
  4. Understand a teeter-totter offer
  5. Put your offer in writing

What are those, you say? Well, they’re the topic of this month’s inconveniently-timed COREE meeting, which you shouldn’t miss DESPITE it being the same night as the fireworks.

It’s all about Bill’s long history with creative deal structuring—you know, they type where, when the dust settles, there are no banks involved and yet the money has somehow turned up. He’ll teach you by example:

  • The fastest, cheapest, most effective way to get face-to-face with homeowners and sellers
  • The best way to learn how to creatively construct and fund a deal
  • The type of creative deal that’s safest to do, and still offers the highest yields?
  • The best way to get owner financing &r find private money lenders
  • The two questions you MUST ask when a seller calls
  • The most you should pay for a property (This answer will floor you!)
  • How to make ten written offers each day (think of how many deals you’d get if you could pull THAT off)
  • The simple thing it really takes to succeed at real estate investing

Yeah, we know, there are other…attractions…that evening, but PLEASE do your bank account a favor and come to COREE on July 3rd!

Bill Cook has been a full-time real estate investor since 1995, completing creative deals on houses, mobile homes, and commercial properties using private lenders, partners, options, contract assignments, subject to deals, master leases, and owner financing.

Note Marketplace

Do you have a performing or non-performing note or land contract you’d like to sell? Or are you looking to buy some notes and mortgages? A lot of members are, so we’re trying something COMPLETELY different for this month’s early meeting: a marketplace where note buyers and sellers can get together and exchange information.

You’ll hear about actual notes for sale and, if you’re a member, have the chance to present your own. Whether you’re buying, selling, or merely curious, you’ll definitely learn a lot about the real-life note market in Central Ohio at this meeting!
